Knights Jousting in Armour - Two shows per Day. Grade-level appropriate.
Authentic representation of Medieval Times Knights in full armour. These jousters go full speed, with two genuine jousts per day. If you're lucky, you get a piece of the lance, signed by your hero! They are an active joust troupe who've won many serious full contact tournaments. Not to be missed!
Medieval Martial Combat -
Exciting, hard-core and educational. It just doesn't get better than this.
Archery -
Gain first-hand knowledge and experience what it feels like to hold a real bow and arrow as they would have in the dark ages. You'll truly appreciate the beauty and workmanship put into this tool of survival and war.
Falconery Show -
Bird of Prey, like a Falcon or a Hawk were used to hunt, instead of using weapons in Medieval days. See these strong and elegant birds and their masters up close and personal!
Music & Dance -
There was no TV in medieval times! So what did people do for fun, besides go to public be-headings? They gathered their clan by the fire to sing, play music and dance. The Bagpipes were usually brought out to lead warriors to battle, but there were a lot of other cool musical instruments back then. Come check them out!
Magic Show -
Slight of hand may have been reserved for pick-pockets, but Magic belonged to the likes of Merlin, one of the greatest magicians in medieval lore. He was known to be extremely long-lived, a successful alchemist and friend and confident to King Arthur. If you don't find him here in June, perhaps you'll find someone equal to his unique skills and abilities?
Merchants -
Some of the best, most talented and creative artisans will be on hand, purveying their Medieval Style wares. Some, quite authentic to the times, like Costumers, Leather Workers, Chain Maille artists, Calligraphers and more, will be on hand and in costume. Most are well educated in the middle ages and jubilant at the thought of passing along anything they know of Medieval times.
